The 58th Annual Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Chattahoochee Country Club
Music, food, dancing and belles combined to benefit the Gainesville community at the 58th annual Charity Ball on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, from 8 p.m to 12:30 a.m., at the Chattahoochee Country Club. This festive holiday event will feature music by Platinum and a holiday buffet. The annual event raises money for the more than 30 community organizations the Junior League supports. This year the Gainesville Jaycees have chosen to sponsor Maggie Norton, daughter of Robert and Kathryn Norton. Maggie is a senior at Gainesville High School where she is co-editor of the yearbook and Secretary of the Student Government. She has played varsity softball and soccer since her freshman year, lettering all years. She is a member of the Latin Honor Society and Key Club. She is also active in Young Life and is a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. She enjoys running, babysitting, and mission work.
