Gainesville Jaycees complete work project at Interactive Neighborhood for Kids (INK)
This work project will surely set the tone for 2010 as over 40 Jaycees and their wives pitched in to help. Danny Sanderson, 2010 President, had the following to say, "I'd consider it a huge success with the turnout we had to help. Everything went very smoothly thanks to Daniel Blalock and Chance Jones heading everything up. I'd also like to thank Papa John's for donating all the pizza for the evening." From Sheri Hooper, "I would like to thank the Jaycees for their financial support to INK! Their presence today was not only that of labor and painting, but also came with a $500 donation. Without contrubutions from organizations such as the Jaycees, INK could not continue it's mission to provide a positive learning environment for kids all over the southeast!" The Jaycees set the bar high for 2010 after raising record amounts in donations, aiding a record number of needy children in Hall County and breaking ground on several successful new ventures -- this on top of continuing longtime successes such as the Mule Camp Market and Gut Check program.
