Charity BallEach December the Gainesville Jaycees participates in the annual Charity
Ball. The Jaycees select a candidate to sponsor as our Belle of the
Ball. The Jaycees work with our Belle candidate’s family to raise money
in order to win the Ball. All of the funds raised by the participating
civic groups are distributed to local non-profit agencies by the Ball’s
organizers, the Junior Service League of Gainesville.
The 59th Annual Charity Ball
will be held on
Saturday, December 11, 2010
at the
Chattahoochee Country Club
Music, food, dancing and belles combined to benefit the Gainesville
community at the 59th annual Charity Ball on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010,
from 8 p.m to 12:30 a.m., at the Chattahoochee Country Club. This
festive holiday event will feature music by Platinum and a holiday
buffet. The annual event raises money for the more than 30 community
organizations the Junior League supports. For tickets to the Charity
