Mule Camp Market

Mule Camp Market began many years ago as a farmer’s curb market near the downtown square. This market evolved into the Corn Tassel Festival, which focused on local craft exhibitors. In 1993, the Gainesville Jaycees revamped the event & renamed it “Mule Camp” to honor the city’s origins. In the years since Mule Camp has grown into a regional fall festival with crowds in excess of 75,000 for the annual 3-day event. During the second weekend in October, visitors enjoy a wide array of craft vendors, children’s activities, feast on delicious items from many food vendors, and cap it all off with a community concert.

2024 Mule Camp Market

Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th

Thursday: Vendor setup from 5:30pm on to 9:00pm
Check-in at 5:30pm early arrivals will have to wait until volunteers are ready to begin processing vendors to set up. There will be no early setup in 2024 due to the large volume of vendors who abused this in 2023.

Friday: 10am until 8pm
Saturday: 10am until 8pm (Free Concert at 2pm)
Sunday: 12pm until 5pm!!

The Midtown Greenway will serve as the heart of Mule Camp.  This large, open park provides space for a large number of vendor booths, a concert stage & dedicated audience lawn with a kids-zone nearby.

The large variety of delicious options our food court offers will be located in the parking lot at the corner of Banks St. and Gordon Ave., adjacent to the Greenway.

Friday night will be quite a party at our annual Mule Camp Kickoff Concert at Boot Barn Hall. On Saturday night, we will have a free concert at the all-new amphitheater on the Midland Greenway.

Our vendors will reopen at 10 am on Saturday so you can browse & shop in between our midday schedule of local community performances.  Sunday brings a non-denominational worship service before vendors officially reopen at noon for last-minute shoppers and your final chance at the item that kept calling your name all weekend!

We look forward to hosting our vendors and visitors alike as we grow into this beautiful new facility.

Come see us October 11th, 12th, and 13th!
